The Pantsings of Ponyville: Twilight Sparkle

(Please note this story takes place in a version of Equestria where ponies walk on two legs and evidently wear clothes, giving Rarity a better job. Seriously, what ponies buy clothes? Exactly, none of them.

    "So I guess I'm the one to call whenever there's work to be done!" Twilight exclaimed angrily. Deep down, she knew that she was being unfair to the Princess. Maybe even unintentionally blaming Celestia for her own bad day. Looking back at the parchment, Twilight saw that Princess Celestia had enclosed the spell underneath the message.
    Twilight was about to perform the spell, but suddenly realized that it might work better outside, so it could go into the sky. She walked out of the library and went into the largely populated streets of Ponyville. Twilight's horn began to glow, ready to perform the spell. Suddenly, her concentration was shattered by somepony calling her name.
    "Twilight! Twilight!"
    Twilight turned toward the voice. "Who...?"
    She saw Rainbow Dash flying toward her, a worried expression on her face. Twilight raised a hoof to wave as Rainbow Dash came closer. The colorful Pegasus gracefully landed next to Twilight.
    "Come on! We need your help!"
    "Huh? Wait-" Rainbow Dash grabbed the sleeve of Twilight's blue shirt, and tried to pull her. Twilight yanked her sleeve back.
    "Slow down, Rainbow Dash!" Twilight demanded, "What's going on?"
    "Well, I was helping Pinkie Pie make more cupcakes since she somehow lost the cake for the Super Spinball Smash Party tonight and Rarity was there putting up decorations, and Pinkie suggested that the blue streamers would look nicer if they were pink, and Rarity thought they should be yellow, so she tried to change the color, but she missed and now the roof of town hall is bright yellow!"
    Twilight was amazed that Rainbow Dash could cram all of that into a single sentence.
    "Why can't Rarity change the color back herself?"
    "She doesn't know a color-erasing spell!"
    Twilight sighed. "Alright, let's go."
    
    
    A few minutes later, Twilight and Rainbow arrived at Ponyville Town Hall. There were various ponies scattered around talking, an excited buzz growing in volume discussing the new yellow roof. Twilight saw Rarity looking up nervously, and Pinkie Pie frosting cupcakes. Twilight walked forward with an air of importance, and entered the Town Hall building. She quickly found the stairs and climbed onto the roof of the building.
    "Okay, if I remember the correct spell..."
    Her horn began to glow, and then zapped a bright beam of light, which seemed to spread over the yellow coloring. Anypony who was looking up saw the yellow slowly fade and turn back to the original color. Twilight was surprised by the sudden, strong burst of magic and stumbled backwards. Her hoof found air, and then Twilight was falling off the side of the roof. She opened her mouth to scream, but it seemed that the scream had started long before she opened her mouth. The ground was so far below, and Twilight's life flashed before her eyes.
    Suddenly she had stopped mid-air. Twilight looked around, confused. Had Rainbow Dash caught her, or...?
    She looked up at a large tree branch above her, and a small inkling of the truth began to grow in her mind. One small pony in the crowd called out "Look at her underwear!"
    It seemed that Twilight's skirt had caught on a tree, and now she was hanging with her panties visible to everypony below. Her face grew red as she recalled exactly what she had chosen to wear today: A pair of white panties with a green waistband and a pattern of thin flowers. She would have chosen just plain white if she had known that everypony preparing for the Super Spinball Smash was going to get a good, long look at her panties!
    "Um, Twilight...?" Rainbow Dash said, barely managing to stifle a giggle as she flew up next to where Twilight was hanging, "Do you... need any help?" Rainbow Dash lost control, and began to laugh.
    Twilight was about to say yes, and then came a large ripping sound as Twilight fell out of the tree onto the ground. She looked up, and saw a piece of her skirt was still caught on the tree. She ran a hoof over the back of her skirt, and found a large tear in the fabric. Her body felt cold while her face felt warm. The back of her skirt was gone, and her panties were still visible for anypony looking at her from behind.
    Rarity hurried over.
    "Twilight, darling, thank you for restoring the town hall! That yellow coloring was absolutely hideous!" The white unicorn thanked Twilight. Rarity leaned closer and lowered her voice, "Also, you have a nice choice in underwear."
    "Right..." Twilight said, rolling her eyes. "Now I have to walk home with my skirt ripped!"
    Twilight tried to pull her shirt down to cover herself, but it was useless. Rainbow Dash flew up and yanked the ripped part of her friend's skirt off from the branch.
    "I don't know if it helps, but here's this," Rainbow Dash handed Twilight the ripped cloth. Rarity snatched it away.
    "Never fear! I know exactly what to do! Twilight, turn around!"
    Twilight obeyed, and gave Rarity a view of her panties. Rarity held the ripped piece of Twilight's skirt back where it should have been, and then her horn began to glow. A small blue light began to glow on the ripped ends of Twilight's skirt, and then it was done. Twilight felt the back of her skirt with her hoof, and was relieved to find that Rarity had fixed the large rip. Her flower-panties were now concealed.
    "Thanks Rarity," Twilight said, blushing, "Did you need any help with the party?"
    "No thanks, Twilight," Rarity said, "We're almost finished. You're welcome to stay or come back later to check everything before the party starts."
    "I think I'll go home for a while," Twilight decided, turning to leave, "Just try not to let anypony know what just happened!"
